A South Coast Police District spokesperson said emergency crews were called to Cranbrook Road just before 10.30am on July 10 after a car had veered off the highway into a ditch.
A male occupant of the car was taken to Moruya Hospital with head injuries.
The female driver was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital for blood and urine analysis.
Police are awaiting results and investigations are ongoing.
