During her time in the US, Hayley was named the Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week (March 2018).
In the same event in the previous year, McNeill held CSU's 54-hole scoring record, and carded back-to-back rounds of even-par 72 before posting a final round of 74.
The impressive finish came in a field of 218 players, with the event billed as the largest in collegiate golf.
Hayley was awarded MVP (Most Valued Player) in April 2018.
She is also a co-medallist of the Female Athlete of the Year Award for Strength and Conditioning at CSU.
Hayley started playing golf at age 10 and quickly became part of the Club Catalina Junior Program.
Starting out with a 45 handicap, it wasn't long before she was recognised for her talent and deemed by the club as having tremendous potential.
At her first competition game at Club Catalina she scored 51 Stableford points. As a result, the handicapper got to work slicing 12 shots from her.
After some hard work practising most days of the week, she was rewarded with yet another scholarship.
This scholarship was for seven years at the exclusive Australian Golf Club, Sydney.
She has two years remaining.
Hayley is currently playing off Golf Australia +1.1.
In the United States, Hayley attended Charleston Southern and played at the Australian Golf Club under Coach Allan Bull.
