They had little ball in the first game, but still managed a few tries and put in a lot of defence.
The second game saw more ball in hands and a few more tries. The coaches award for the day went to Leo Smith and Dustin Piggot.
Under 8's were light on for numbers and borrowed a few Eden players who were happy to help. It was end-to-end stuff from start to finish, with really entertaining footy. Coach Irving's award went to Lincoln Smith, who was dangerous with the ball.
The Girls continue to improve out of sight, and accounted for Eden 52-6, showcasing some talented footballers. The ball was shared amongst all the girls, and working as a team the tries started to come one after the other. The coach’s award was a hard pick, as everyone performed well, but ended up going to Tyrah Nye.
This weekend Sharks are at home to Merimbula-Pambula with all grades to take part.
Under 12's put in their best performance of the year so far and came away with a 28-10 win. Coach Zutt was happy with the quality of play, as they only had the bare minimum numbers travel down, with young Chase Kovaks throwing the jumper on to help out his older brother’s side. Coach’s award went to Nathan Griffiths for a solid performance.
Under 14's played a hard fought game and dug deep to the end, but went down 26-42. With only 10 players in action the boys worked against a strong opposition at their home ground. Coach’s award went to Michael Griffiths for a good all round game.
