Batemans Bay, Broulee, and Narooma all sent competitors to the event, with all three clubs picking up medals.
The Broulee Surf Club had one medal winner, with youngster Lara Elliott bringing home a silver medal in the under 9s Female Surf Race. Elliott was narrowly beaten by Cudgen Headland’s Kaimana Lowien-Britt.
The Narooma Surf Club brought home three medals, and had a number of other impressive results on the weekend.
Sam Blake won gold in the under 10s surf race and beach flag.
Elli Beecham won the under 14s female beach flags, beating out another Cudgen Headland competitor in Lily O’Sullivan.
Aiden Miles won bronze in the under 14s male beach sprint, and Travis Stubbs won bronze in the under 11s male beach flags.
Other results from the southern club included a fifth place in the 40-49 men’s ski event for Nick Ziviani, and a fifth place for Nigel Constable in the 30-39 men’s beach sprint.
The Batemans Bay Surf Club were the most successful club in the Shire, bringing home 10 medals, including eight shared between the Blake brothers.
Jackson Blake won both the under 13s male surf race and iron man, and finished third in the board race.
Sam Blake won gold in the under 10s surf race and beach flag, and picked up bronze in the board race.
Lachlan Blake won silver in the under 17s male surf race, and bronze in the iron man.
Geordie Kemp was the other Batemans Bay competitors to win medals, bringing home a gold in both the under 15s beach flags and beach sprint.
