The young boy was riding with a nine-year-old pillion passenger on a property at Barellan about 12.30pm, when they fell while turning the bike.
The bike then fell onto the younger boy.
The boy was taken to Griffith Base Hospital with head injuries, before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
Police established a crime scene and seized the bike for forensic examination and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
