Attending paramedic Donald Bryant said one of the women had head and arm injuries.
“There were no fractures,” Mr Bryant said.
“The patient is okay.”
The Eurobodalla Shire Council works division, Euroworks, attended to the fallen branch shortly after the accident.
The branch was cut and loaded into a tip truck and the area under the tree was cordoned off.
Nelligen cafe owner Rick Patman said witnesses rushed into his shop and requested an ambulance shortly after the incident at 1:10pm on January 3.
Mr Patman said it was the second time a branch had fallen from the tree in the past week and he had informed the council of the danger.
