“She recovered from her treatment much faster than expected and she is happier than she has been in a very long time to be home,” mother Kristen Wilson-Mitchell said.

“She is still in isolation but she can go to open areas.”

Addison has to return to Sydney Children’s Hospital for PET and CT scans on July 18.
