Three-year-old Moruya cancer sufferer Addison Wilson-Mitchell is enjoying some family time out of hospital despite still undergoing grueling treatment for stage four neuroblastoma.

She has been temporarily discharged from Sydney Children’s Hospital and has her Mum Kristen, Dad James brothers Ethan and Bailey and her grandmother with her in isolation at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick.
She will be out of the hospital for six weeks.
“She is in high spirits because she hasn’t seen her brothers for six weeks,” Mrs Wilson-Mitchell.
Ethan, 9, has just had his tonsils and adenoids removed at the hospital and while Addison is enjoying time out of hospital, she is still undergoing treatment and has much more ahead of her.
“She has to have blood tests every Monday, Wednesday and Friday,” Mrs Wilson-Mitchell said.
“Medically she is doing very well, but she has to have a heap of tests to reevaluate what is going on with the cancer.
“The next step will be radiotherapy.”
Addison was confirmed as having cancer on January 12 this year, and diagnosed with neuroblastoma on January 19.
