Despite the rain and not so nice weather many of the Tuross Head Fishing Club members were out with rod and reel to pursue the goblet fish for November.

The goblet for November was Leatherjacket.
Bruce Kennedy caught the only Leatherjacket of the weekend and unfortunately for Bruce it was underside and therefore it was let go to hopefully be caught again when it has grown to full size therefore no Goblet award for this month.
Overall there was 56 fish caught for this goblet competition weekend of November 14 to 16.
While there was no goblet fish measured in there was still some good size fish caught, measured, photographed and released including a 57.5cm Snapper and 57.5cm Salmon both caught by Rod Federer.
Tammy Paul also caught a good size Salmon at 56.4cm and it is always great to see the juniors out catching fish and enjoying themselves, congratulations to Lucus Brown for his 47cm Flathead.
MANY TURKEYS THIS MONTH AND EDEN WEEKEND
There was many entries for the Turkey award this month and most of the stories were from the Tuross Head/Eden fishing weekend held from November 6 to 8.
One these stories involved person who got picked by car and was half way to the fishing spot before realizing they forgot their fishing rod, then there was the person in the same car who forgot to bring the bait!
Bit hard to catch anything without the bait and that was Tuross Head Fishing Club Present Neil Alexander trying for his second turkey award in two months, but the award went to Scott Paul who after only six weeks of being married lost his wedding ring not sure if his wife Tammy has forgiven him yet.
BOATSHED MEASURE IN
Goblet competition measure in this month was at the Tuross Head Boatshed with more than 40 Fishing Club Members plus juniors meeting for the measure in, with the improved weather, good fishing stories and great food it was a very enjoyable evening.
