There are four strategically placed disabled parking spaces at Woolworths.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking spaces at IGA.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking spaces at the back of Harris Scarf.
There are five strategically placed disabled parking spaces at the hospital.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking at the back of Anglicare.
There are three strategically placed disabled parking spaces at the council chambers.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking in Ford Street Doctors surgery.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking spaces behind the Air Raid Hotel.
There are two strategically placed disabled parking spaces at the Community Centre.
I would like to see strategically placed disabled car spaces at places that elderly and disabled people frequent or would like to: outside Queen St Medical Centre, the pharmacy, outside the IMB, the post office, the RTA and, for good measure, lets put one in front of Harris Scarf.
I don’t believe it would cost much for broken lines, as per the taxi stand in front of The Reject Shop, and signage.
Perhaps someone would like to donate the paint and time, and the council only need pay for the signs?
I have also noticed the many lined car spaces at Riverside Park are seldom used outside the Saturday and Tuesday markets, Christmas and Easter holidays; although, on reflection, they are utilised more than the taxi stand in Vulcan Street, where I was fined.
