The high standard of aged care in Batemans Bay, such as that given to my recently departed Dad over the past few years, must surely be the envy of many comparable areas of Australia.

Dad initially received high-level care for many years while he lived independently in his Surfside home, with daily nursing, meals on wheels, home visits by Veterans Affairs representatives and regular trips to Canberra by ambulance.
With the support of the Medical Centre at Batemans Bay and the amazing care and judgement of Dr Gibson and nursing staff, he was able to live a full, independent and contented life.
After he broke his hip, he moved into Crown Gardens, and aged care facility in Batemans Bay.
The standard of care at Crown Gardens could not possibly be surpassed.
Attentive, caring staff members made the last year of Dad’s life a period of happiness.
Dad required detailed care in his last few months and the staff of Crown Gardens were always there to attend to his every need, day and night.
Gary and Annette visited Dad when they were not on duty to ensure his last wishes were being attended to; such amazing and caring people.
Batemans Bay is very fortunate to have so many caring people to look after the elderly, surely another reason for the Eurobodalla to promote itself as a caring place to spend one’s life, elderly or otherwise.
