The first game is at 5pm and the Batemans Bay Tigers will tackle the Group 16 Indigenous Dream Team.
Following the clash the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs face the Group 16 All Stars.
The Tigers will have next weekend off before the Group 16 Nines Tournament at Eden on March 15.
The two all star sides will use this weekend as a warm up before they clash at Bega on March 8.
The Bay Tigers team for Saturday’s game will be Ashbee Reid, Brent Parker, Lachlan Knox, Brent Pan, Jason Wright, Doug Ebsworth, Jacob Hill, Jack Leggett, Ben Carmody, Anthony Chatfield, Josh Lole, William Thomas, James Thomas, Jono Tennant, Sam Cunningham, Baden Payne, Jake Cowling, Gerard Dennis, Jarrod Ward, Scott Belcher and Ben Phillips.
Registrations and clearances have stopped a few of the players from turning out.
Some of the Tigers first squad and a few of the staff are away at Mollymook doing a two-day trainers’ course, but there will be a solid line-up for start for the season. “A lot of the young blokes are going up to grade for the first time but they have been training the house down and we are looking forward to tomorrow,” Tigers president Bob Mitchell said.
The Group 16 All Stars team will consist of players from Moruya (Pat McMahon, Jake Clarke, Dillon Johnston and Tim Weyman), Narooma (Gene Willis and Brendon Harper), Bega (Lee Fuller, Blake Robinson, Scott Ingram and Todd Ingram) Cooma (Joel Smith, Todd Williams, Corey Thomas, Liam Saunders and Gareth Knowles), Bombala (Paul Perkins and Brett Hodak) and Candelo-Bemboka (Grant Moon).
