More than 40 people were the given the chance to feel what it was like to be in the passenger seat as rally drivers took them on a 4km stage through northern Batemans Bay.
Rally manager Colin Fletcher said the "whole object of the event is to give people the thrill of the sport".
"The drivers are incredibly social and I believe we've had prizewinners and fans alike, come down for the experience," Fletcher said.
The Bay Post/Moruya Examiner was taken through the stage by veteran rally driver, Simon Jamieson, in his Mitsubish Lancer Evo 6.
Jamieson is racing in Batemans Bay for the first time since 2000.
