EDEN: Eden Marine High School(EMHS) kids enjoy sail training on Sydney Harbor as guests of The Cruising Yacht Club (CYCA). Each year the CYCA invites a group of EMHS students to attend their Youth Sailing Academy as a thank you to Eden for assistance given by the community during the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

EDEN: Good old fashioned people power pressed the pause button on developer’s plans to demolish the 109 year old Hotel Australasia in Eden at Wednesday’s Bega Valley Shire Council meeting. NOWRA: Children receiving treatment at Shoalhaven Hospital's children's ward like Georgia Fletcher were not forgotten at Christmas, with lots of gifts coming through the doors. Georgia is pictured with her dad, Brett, and nurse Sharon Robson of the local BRATs motorcycle club who donated vouchers and presents to support local families caring for sick children.
NOWRA: There was a massive rush on seafood sales on Christmas Eve in the Shoalhaven with an estimated 10 tonnes of prawns sold, along with 600 kgs of lobster and 6,500 dozen oysters.
NOWRA: Due to bad conditions a vessel from Nowra/Culburra Surf Life Saving was turned back from the search for a missing fisherman in heavy seas off Beecroft Peninsula.
