Eleven students from the school were accompanied by teachers Mr Duncan Norris and Miss Ellena McTavish for the event, which was held at the Penrith Regatta Centre. On Wednesday February 21, five students competed in the individual event, with Moruya also entering three teams in the group events held the following day. Bridget Dunn took part in the intermediate girls category and said the run leg was the most challenging.
“After the bike ride, your legs feel like jelly,” she said.
“I nearly fell over when I came off my bike and started running.”
