The event is open to students of all ages, with a primary and a secondary division.
Abbey Rashleigh, Amanda Bortolazzo, Alika Jay, Alana Salter, Mikaela MacNamara and Alaina MacNamara competed across three days in dressage, hacking, show jumping, sporting, a hunt challenge and interschool challenge events.
The students were able to train and compete with their own horses.
Competitor Abbey Rashleigh said the event was a great experience.
“It’s exciting for us as a small rural school to take out the championship,” she said.
“It’s a big achievement. Over the three days each student competes for themselves, and at the end their points are tallied up together and the highest scoring school wins.”
