You’d be forgiven for mistaking five piece pop-punk outfit Between You & Me for a four piece.

Identical twins Chris and Jamie Bowerman do the work of three people while looking like one, shredding vocals, guitar and drums.
The Carroll College graduates have been working to make their music dream a reality since 13, and after 18 months of negotiation are on the books of American label Hopeless Records.
They were launched in the States on July 20.
Currently based in Melbourne with their band, the brothers are “stoked” about the outcome, crediting a solid support system, luck and hard work for their success.
They haven’t just been working hard on their music – Jamie is just about to finish his first year of a bricklaying apprenticeship, while Chris has been working with him as a labourer.
Asked how they balanced the intense physical demands of labouring on job sites and thrashing the competitive Melbourne live music scene, Chris didn’t take much credit for himself.
“It’s just been about balance – we’re very fortunate to have a boss who supports us and has given us time off when we’ve needed it,” he said.
“We moved down here in 2013, for something that didn’t eventuate,” Chris said.
“We thought while we’re here we should chase any opportunities that came up.
“We were lucky enough to come across the guys we’re in a band with now. We’ve all worked really hard to get to this point and we feel so grateful to be given the opportunity.”
