Bodalla Netball Club may not be the biggest club in the Eurobodalla but they had a cracker of a season with all teams reaching the semi-finals: Bodalla Pacers (10s), Bullets (12s), Bombshells (Inters 1 Division) and Berries (Senior B Division).

The Pacers went straight in to the grand final from there. The Bullets and Bombshells progressed on to the finals and from there the Bullets bowed out but the Bombshells joined the Pacers in the grand finals on Saturday ... and what a day it was.
The day kicked off with the 10s Division Bodalla Pacers playing Broulee Butterflies. Plenty of Bodalla supporters had travelled north to watch the girls play in this epic battle.
The match was tight from the outset. Both teams attacked and defended brilliantly. With 3 minutes to full time, the score was level at 12-12. The Bodalla girls dug deep and got the ball into their circle ... will very cool concentration Bodalla shot and the goal went in!
Broulee didn't give up though. The last couple of minutes saw both team dig even deeper. The ball moved quickly and both teams threw everything they had into the play. When fulltime sounded Bodalla were ahead 13-12.
Congratulations to the Pacers awesome effort in the Grand Final and on remaining undefeated for the entire competition! Great effort by the Broulee girls ... you all did your clubs proud. Big thank you to Coach Kayla for all of her work with the girls this year and to the parents who helped out and supported the girls at the matches.
The Inters 1 Division grand final saw the Bodalla Bombshells take on Broulee Blackmore Cleaning. The Bodalla girls came out firing in the first quarter with some very classy netball ... Broulee did the same. The ball moved quickly from one end of the court to the other. The goal shooting from both teams was spot on ... with some truly amazing shots. Defence was solid with some spectacular intercepts from both sides again.
After half time Broulee pulled ahead and kept increasing their lead. The Bodalla girls fought hard and dug deep but were unable to close the gap. The final score was 41-24. So proud of our Bodalla girls for a great season. Congratulations to Broulee for a top class game and an undefeated season. Thanks to Coach Jade for her time and effort that she put in with the girls and to the parents ho came along each week and helped out.
A big thank you to Michelle and Jade for their tireless work coaching and organising the club as well as coaching and umpiring on Saturdays. You are both so very much appreciated.
Thanks also to the Eurobodalla Netball Association for organising and running such a great competition and promoting netball in the Eurobodalla area. Great season everyone!
See you all next year!
