The May meeting of the Batemans Bay RC Car Club was held last Sunday with competitors facing a fast, moist track thanks to recent rain.

The 2wd Junior competition saw Andrew McGee yet again clean up with Top Qualifier, winning all three mains. He even managed a faster lap than anything seen in 2wd Senior; quite the feat.
Second place was taken by Jesse Evans, with third a battle between Douglas D'Amico and Isy McGee, Douglas prevailing by 1 point.
The 2wd Senior saw great battling through the field, with Brad Hulm taking the spoils after two wins and a 2nd in the mains.
Second was taken by Ryan Mathews, showing he has lost no pace during his hiatus from racing with us. He managing a win in the 1st main and just fell short in the 2nd by 4 seconds.
Third place ended in a tie between the brothers Kelland, with Liam and Ethan ending on 10 points each The result was sealed with the boys finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 3rd main, separated by only .261.
The 4wd 1/10th competition was the Sean Dean show, taking TQ and all three mains with ease. The battle for second was between Brad Hulm and Kyle Constable. Consistency always wins out and Brad Hulm took 2nd overall with Kyle 3rd.
The 1/8th Open actually saw Sean Dean challenged with Ryan Mathews taking TQ. After hard racing and some stunning fast laps, Sean managed to prevail with two main wins and a 2nd with Ryan winning one. The last spot on the podium was taken by Tim Cassidy.
