The Day 1 Workshop “Figures in Natural Poses – a simple approach” will let you explore painting figures within an everyday context e.g. street, home, beach, café in fact in any environment. This workshop will give you drawing tips for figures in casual poses, how much to add or leave out, use of light and or colour and, just how to get the subject done.
Day 2 “The Art of Simplification”- keeping things simple in this workshop you will explore some fun and simple methods to paint a subject in an unusual way of using pastels which appeals to your inner child. You can choose any subject of your own liking and turn it into a piece of art that is neither complicated or becomes too tiresome a process. Both workshop are open to artists with some knowledge of pastels.
