A inquiry was posted on the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner Facebook page about the possibility of council “cutting costs of their waste disposal contract … the red bin is to be picked up once a fortnight and the yellow bin will be half its size”.
However, a council spokeswoman said “there is currently no intention to change the domestic waste collection service carried out on behalf of the council, under contract by SUEZ (previously SITA)”.
“If residents have questions about council services, we encourage them to call us 4474 1000 or use the online feedback form at www.esc.nsw.gov.au.”
