Eurobodalla Shire Councillor Danielle Brice has decided not to run in the September 2016 elections after serving one term. She said it was a tough decision to make.

“I have put my heart and soul into my role and would like to pursue other interests,” she said.
“I want to write a book in memory of our boys, Nick and Chris, to help and inspire people in similar situations. I have a bucket list to finish and wish to carry on our boys’ service in the community.
“It has been a honor and privilege to serve this wonderful community. I will continue to serve the community through volunteering.”
Clr Brice said she was honored to have the privilege of serving as a councillors in the Eurobodalla.
“I have always advocated for services and transport for our seniors, people with disabilities, indigenous people, people from diverse backgrounds, youth and promoted road safety and safe communities,” she said.
“I feel I have served the community to the best of my ability and achieved many important outcomes. I will take away many skills and friendships I have made during my term.
“I'm looking forward to a well deserved break.”
During her time on council, she serviced on many committees, they include; ESC Cycling Advisory Committee, Tuross Progress Hall Sunset Committee, Kyla Hall Management Committee, ESC Local Traffic Committee, ESC Police Liaison Committee, ESC Disability Advisory Committee, Eurobodalla Bush Fire Management Committee, Corrigans Beach Reserve Advisory Playground Committee, Eurobodalla Pathways Strategy Committee and invited member ESC Youth Committee.
Clr Brice wished all candidates the best for the election.
“Be true to yourself and keep the community at heart,” she said.
