Alan Bruce Potts, 41, had a warrant issued for his arrest by Batemans Bay Local court on July 18.
He is described as being of aboriginal appearance, about 175-180cm tall, of medium build with black hair brown eyes, and a grey/black goatee beard.
Police said Mr Potts frequents the Batemans Bay, Mogo and Moruya area.
If anyone knows his current whereabouts, they are urged not to approach him, but to contact police via Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Meanwhile, Far South Coast LAC Police are urging the public to secure their vehicles at all times when unattended.
There have been incidents of late where car keys have been left in vehicle making it easy for theft.
Valuables, keys should be removed and the vehicle secured.
This applies to both residential and rural properties and police urge members of the community to be vigilant.
