Julie Watson, of the Orient St branch, presented $347 to foundation chair Peter Wood.
This is not the first time the bank has helped the Foundation fund grants for tertiary education for local school students.
The foundation, which was established by the Rotary Club of Batemans Bay in 1994, relies on donations from community-minded organisations and citizens.
The foundation has an impressive track record: it has donated $500,000 to 168 students, most of them from Batemans Bay High, St Peters Anglican College, and Carroll College.
There have been many highly successful recipients.
Brett Mason, who reports for SBS, is most in the public eye, but the list includes a neurosurgeon and other medical doctors, a couple of vets, and a long list of senior managers in business scattered around Australia.
All can say that the money donated by the community and channelled to them via a grant, got them started at university.
Anyone wishing to donate to the Foundation may contact Peter Wood, 4472 5306, or Peter Kable, 4472 4214.
