Sustainable Agriculture and Gardening Eurobodalla (SAGE) will hold its winter solstice party from 4.30pm at the SAGE community garden, in Queen St.
Stay warm dancing to Moruya band, The Zooids, enjoy some steaming hot soup and mulled wine and toast yourself by the fire. The June 19 event runs to 8pm. Tickets: $15 per adult and $30 for families.
The winter solstice marks mid-winter: the shortest day and the longest night.
“We expect that you will be incapable of standing still,” The Zooids said.
“You will have to dance. You will have to jump up and down. It will be like the CIA have opened a live music venue and they are controlling your feet.”
