The junior rookie of the year was league tag player Keharni Constable and the senior rookie of the year was Ben Wiggins.
Matt Parrish had a stellar season and was rewarded with the club’s player of the year trophy.
The under 10s, coached by Justin Zutt, best and fairest winner was Brendon Young, the most improved was Kye Zutt and Brodie O’Meley took home the coach’s award.
The under 12s, coached by Bob Arnold, best and fairest player was Aaron Stewart, the players’ player was Nic Croker, Hayden King won the encouragement award, Liam Henry collected the coach’s award and Jarrod Brunhuber was named the most improved.
The girls’ league tag team, coached by Naomi Place, best and fairest player was Verenaisi Ratugolea, the players’ player was Cody Godfrey, the most improved player was Halle Keaton, Keharni Constable added the coach’s award too her junior rookie of the year trophy and Britney Flanagan collected the encouragement award.
The under 14s, coached by Grant Arnold, best and fairest player was Jack Godfrey, Aiden Gaffey was the players’ player, Jake Spence won the coach’s award, Anthony Henry was the most consistent and Josh Maher was the most improved.
The under 16s awards were presented by coach Corey Arnold and the best and fairest player was Finbar McNaughton.
Brendan Blackmore was the team’s best forward, Alex Saines was the most improved player, Tyson Beaudean was the team’s best back and Kane Duncan collected the coach’s award.
A club spokesman praised the tireless work of the Arnold family, in particular, Bob, Grant, Corey, Nardi and Tysan.
“They have put countless hours into the Sharks juniors over the years and the juniors and their families cannot thank them enough,” the spokesman said.
“They’ve left the club in a great financial position from endless hours of fundraising and collecting sponsors.”
