Moruya’s first and reserve grades play against the Bega Roosters with a grand final berth on offer for the winners.
The Roosters had narrow victories in the qualifying finals on Sunday.
Bega’s first grade team snuck through with a golden point 19-18 win against Eden and its reserve grade team prevailed in a gruelling encounter against Candelo-Bemboka United, 8-4.
Bega has beaten Moruya twice this season in first grade and the Sharks are hoping home ground advantage can turn the results in their favour.
The Roosters senior depth will be on show with the Bega Chicks facing women’s league tag minor premiers, the Narooma She-Devils.
The She-Devils are undefeated and should be favourites to book a grand final berth.
Bega’s undefeated under 18s side tackles the Merimbula-Eden combined team.
Gates open at 9.30am; entry is $10 for adults, $5 for pensioners and children under-16 are free.
All money collected goes to Group 16 for referee payments, trophy purchases and grand final prizemoney.
The Sharks will run a canteen with bar facilities starting at noon.
The under 18s start at 10.30am, league tag at 12pm, reserve grade at 1pm and first grade at 2.30pm.
The elimination finals are held at Eden on Saturday.
In first grade Eden will face Cooma and the winner faces the loser of Moruya v Eden.
In reserve grade, Candelo-Bemboka plays Eden, and in league-tag Bombala plays Cooma.
In the under 18s the young Sharks get another chance when they play Cooma.
The Sharks were disappointed last week when they lost to Merimbula with an under-strength side.
This Saturday it is hoped that they can keep their season alive by putting their best side on the paddock and performing to their best.
The under 18s will take to the paddock at noon on the Saturday.
