A man well known to authorities for property theft and abalone poaching was fined $500 in Batemans Bay Local Court on June 22 for being in possession of goods suspected of being stolen.

Koiranah Jonathon Jessop, 20, of Queen Street, Mogo, pleaded guilty to the offence, which occurred at a party at Kalaru on the evening of November 22, 2014.
The stolen goods – a digital camera, mobile phone and a GPS – were found in a car stopped by police at Cobargo the following day.
Jessop was a passenger in the car.
