THE Eurobodalla Orchid Club’s meeting on the night of Wednesday, July 1, is being held a week earlier than usual because of its annual Orchid Winter Show on July 10 and 11.

The meeting will be held at the CWA Hall in Queen Street, Moruya, and benching of orchids must be completed by 7pm.
The meeting will commence at 7.30pm.
Some of the club’s more experienced show exhibitors will demonstrate how to turn the most ordinary-looking and badly grown orchid into something suitable for the show bench.
They will also look at what can be grown on slabs, a response to a query at a previous meeting.
A plate to share for supper, and visitors and new members will be welcome.

Orchid Winter Show
VISITORS to Eurobodalla Orchid Club’s annual Winter Show are guaranteed to be greeted by a brilliant display of blooming orchids.
They will also be welcome to ask for advice on growing and potting orchids.
The show will be held at the CWA Hall in Queen Street, Moruya, on July 10 and 11.
On the Friday the show will be open from 9am to 4pm and on the Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
Entry is free.
Orchids and orchid posies will be for sale, as will raffle tickets.
