Hank Peter Pickett, 42, of Malua Bay, is set to remain in jail until February 11, 2024 after being sentenced on four drugs charges in Sutherland District Court on Friday.

A Sutherland District Court spokeswoman said Mr Pickett received three years jail on a charge of knowingly taking part in a criminal group and eight years jail with a five year non-parole period for cultivating a prohibited drug in a large quantity. These began on February 12, 2014 and are to be served concurrently.
One one charge of supplying a prohibited drug in a large commercial quantity he was given a 10 year sentence with a six year non-parole period beginning February 12, 2015 and on another charge of supplying a prohibited drug in a large commercial quantity he was given a 13 sentence with an eight-year non-parole period beginning on February 12, 2016.
These two sentences are to be served concurrently.
