A man accused of murdering his girlfriend and putting her body in a car boot has appeared in court.

Josaia Vosikata, 27 of Bruce, made a brief appearance in a packed-out courtroom in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Vosikata remained silent, save for a brief conversation with his barrister, and entered no plea to the charge of murder.
He has been behind bars since late April, when he was found hiding in bushland on the NSW South Coast.
Vosikata is accused of killing his girlfriend Daniela D'Addario, 35, in the ACT.
Police found her body in the boot of a blue Hyundai Getz with ACT numberplates near Bermagui in April.
NSW officers had pulled the car over but Vosikata allegedly ran, prompting an extensive search through nearby bushland.
A channel 7 cameraman reportedly spotted Vosikata, alerting police, before filming the arrest.
No further details of the alleged murder emerged from Tuesday's court appearance.
Vosikata's barrister James Sabharwal asked for a lengthy adjournment, a move not opposed by Director of Public Prosecutions Jon White.
The case will reappear in court on August 4.
