Chloe Ryan, the Ward’s granddaughter, organised and hosted the day at her Canberra home, attracting 150 people.
The Eurobodalla business community helped by donating excellent prizes to be auctioned.
“I would really like to thank Mitch Cameron of Batemans Bay for donating goods to be auctioned,” Mr Ward said.
Alison Ryan passed away of bowel cancer at the age of 49 on June 3 last year.
