A 64-YEAR-OLD man was charged with wilful and obscene exposure in a public place after exposing himself in Tomakin last week.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, and the ACT man was arrested and charged by Batemans Bay Police.
He will appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on April 27.
Long Beach scrub fires
POLICE are investigating two scrub fires at Long Beach on Saturday night.
Long Beach Rural Fire Service and police attended the two fires in bushland at the rear of homes in Sandy Place at about 9.15pm on Saturday night.
A police spokesman said the fires were only 10 metres square in size and were extinguished by the Long Beach RFS volunteers.
Hiking gear worth $1200 stolen
HIKING equipment worth $1200 was stolen from a car at South Durras on Saturday night.
The Subaru Outback was parked at Banyandah Street when the thief or thieves gained access via a side door and took hiking gear including backpacks, walking pants and a first aid kit, all to the value of $1200.
The owner discovered the theft the following morning, and alerted police, who are investigating.
Park lights smashed
TWO car park lights valued at a total of $400 were smashed at Batemans Bay High School over the weekend.
Police are seeking information about the matter and are urging anyone who can help to call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or Batemans Bay Police on 4472 0099.
Bonnet damaged
A CAR was maliciously damaged in a Batemans Bay shopping centre car park on Tuesday.
Police said a 10cm scratch was made on the bonnet blue Mazda in the CBD car park, sometime between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Tuesday.
