A WOMAN made a brief appearance in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, January 12, after she allegedly stabbed a man in the neck at Wallaga Lake Koori village on Sunday morning.

Ashley Dawn Parsons, 29, of Wallaga Lake, was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police allege the accused was involved in an altercation with a 38-year-old man, who was admitted to Canberra Hospital suffering a serious knife wound.
The magistrate refused bail for the accused and adjourned the matter to February 23.
