A barber shop will open at the site of the Air Raid Tavern in Moruya on March 1, pending the approval of a development application by Eurobodalla Shire Council.
The application has been lodged by barber Raymond Paul.
Moruya businessman Michel Patrick Nader, who owns the building, said that Mr Pual was currently in England.
“He is getting some fresh ideas and doing a fancy course,” he said.
Mr Nader said his son, Michel John Nader, who is the licensee for the Air Raid Tavern, has not yet decided what to do with this licence.
Anyone objecting to the opening of the barber shop needs to get their submission to council by Christmas Eve.
Likewise, December 24 will be the final date to view the development application, plans and associated documents at council headquarters.
