The Bay won the toss and elected to bat at the blustery ground and made it to double figures before opener Sam Strong (6) was caught at mid-on by Dale Ramsden off Max Eggins’ bowling.
Adrian Clack (4) followed in the next over, caught in the deep, and Batemans Bay was 2/18.
Under 14s representative player Jack Gallen joined Harry Shannon at the crease and the pair restored order to the Bay’s innings before Shannon was caught at mid-wicket for 18.
John Boller returned after a two-game break and belted three fours before he was stumped on 14 and the Bay went in to drinks at 4/61.
After the break Cory Maddison combined with Gallen to take the total past the century mark.
Unfortunately for the visitors, Maddison (18) was stumped off Tony Lavalle and Gallen (31) was caught and bowled in Lavalle’s next over to leave the Bay at 6/108.
Mark Templeman (0) and Pat Griffin (4) followed in quick succession and Batemans Bay was 8/110.
Bishal Pachhai (10) gained some confidence late in the innings, smacking two fours through the leg side, but he could not last and Batemans Bay was all out for 123 from 36.1 overs.
In reply, Ulladulla started well and almost reached the 50-run mark before Mackensie Clack and John Boller combined to remove Lavalle (12), with Ulladulla at 1/44.
Maddison (0/18 from five) was unlucky not to nab an early wicket, beating the bat, stumps, and wicketkeeper a few times.
Mackensie (2/16) struck again later in the innings when he bowled Stephen Donohue (43) to have the home side at 2/66.
Ulladulla’s Max and Andrew Eggins then took charge for their team and chased the total down with 12.3 overs to spare, as Ulladulla finished 2/125.
Batemans Bay sit winless at the bottom of the third grade table and will look to get its first win against Bomaderry at Hanging Rock on Saturday.
