The Batemans Bay artists, who are delighted to have been chosen as the artists of the month at Olive Tree’s gallery, will host a meet and greet on October 11 from 11am to 2pm.
The Neals have a lifetime’s experience of art and painting.
They have experimented with wood, recycled art, fabric design and in many media but for this exhibition Brian has concentrated more on pastel and Christine on acrylics.
Brian studied art at Burton Tech in the UK and was a student of Grace Paleg, a master pastel painter, for a number of years.
Christine was a student at Julian Ashton Art School and at East Sydney Tech she studied design, life drawing, sculpture and botanical drawing.
“Visitors to the gallery will see exciting new paintings,” Christine said.
“Having a deadline for an exhibition guarantees a level of concentration that has produced some of our best works,” Christine said.
The exhibition is open until November 1.
The gallery, at 10 Beach Road, Batemans Bay, is open from Wednesday to Saturday, between 10am and 3pm.
