CLYDE United’s all age men’s team is through to the Eurobodalla Football Association’s grand final after defeating Moruya Swans 2-1 after extra time at Gundary Oval on Sunday.

Neither team could find the back of the net in regular time but Moruya shot ahead, to the approval of its home crowd, after Justin McDonald finished a Grady Cadogan cross in the early minutes of the extra period.
Moruya’s lead was short-lived when Dominic Patrizi equalised almost instantly after kick-off to put the game in a deadlock.
Minutes later Dean Carmichael ripped out the hearts of Moruya’s fans with a stunning, eventual, match winner.
Carmichael was off-balance in the 18-yard box and floated a ball with his right boot across the face of the goal which found the back corner of the net and stunned both Clyde and Moruya supporters.
Moruya will tackle Bodalla next week for a shot in the decider after Bodalla defeated Broulee 3-1 in the men’s minor semi-final.
Clyde United’s all age ladies’ team is through to the grand final after defeating Moruya Swans 3-1.
It was nil-all at half-time but Clyde took the ascension with an early goal in the second half.
Minutes from full-time Moruya levelled to send the match into extra time.
In the first half of extra time United scored two quick goals which sent them through to the grand final.
In the minor semi-final Batemans Bay took on Narooma and earned a place in the preliminary final with a 5-nil win.
Bodalla’s youth boys shot through to the grand final after a narrow 2-1 win against minor premiers Moruya Blue.

Bodalla stunned minor premiers Moruya 4-1 to book a place in the grand final.
Moruya will tackle Clyde United on Sunday after Clyde beat Broulee 6-nil.
In the under 13s Batemans Bay knocked off Broulee 4-3 in the major semi-final.
Broulee will play Moruya Swans who beat club counterpart, Moruya Blue, 2-1.
Draw for preliminary finals to be played at Bodalla Oval on September 7:
Under 13s: 10am Broulee v Moruya Swans.
Youth girls: 10am Moruya v Clyde United.
Youth boys: 12pm Moruya Blue v Narooma.
All age ladies: 12pm Moruya v Batemans Bay.
All age men: 2.30pm Moruya Swans v Bodalla.
