Batemans Bay’s Ann Brummell had an impressive shoot collecting six medals including gold in the three-gun aggregate category.
Brummell also brought home silver in the sporter grand, 200 aggregate and the smallest 200-yard group medallion.
Brummell took home bronze medals in the two and four gun events.
Brummell was proud of her results and competitive longevity and “despite senior citizen status” is still shooting well.
“I cannot remember how many state titles over the years but vividly remember the first in 197 which led to representation and success at national and international level,” Brummell said.
Up to 115 shooters took part in the event which embraced four separate rifle classes including the 4kg sporter, 4.7kg light class, 6.1kg heavy class and an unlimited class.
Benchrest competitions are open affairs with only juniors competing in age groups.
