Keen to finish the season with 12 wins in a row, the Dolphins were on the front foot from the kick-off.
A brilliant one-on-one ball strip by Bray Johnston led to him racing over the line for a solo try.
The Dolphins forced their way down field with well executed team play resulting in a try awarded to Harry Shoemark.
Uni-Norths responded with solid defence and a number of Dolphin players, including Jordan Young and Jack Murray, were subjected to some heavy tackling from the Uni-Norths forward pack.
The Dolphins remained composed and tries continued to come the Dolphins’ way through Liam Macpherson and Will Shoemark.
Uni Norths started the second half with attacking play and the Broulee team sent an influx of heavy defence.
Jacob Fitzgerald and Jack Collovatti showed no signs of self-preservation as they launched into their defensive roles.
The Dolphins continued to absorb Uni-Norths’ physical game play before running away with further tries resulting in the final score 64-nil.
Under 14s coach Michael Young was elated with the team’s performance.
“The boys resisted some solid play from the opposition,” Young said.
“This performance has shown good strength in defence as well as attack.
“Their game is now well established and we are looking forward to the semi-finals next week.”
Four Dolphins’ junior teams will play in the ACTJRU semi-finals on August 23 at Canberra.
The seniors will host the South Coast Zone semi-finals at Broulee on August 30.
