Emma Patyus from council and Lynne Bains from Landcare helped the students plant trees throughout the school from 9am to 11am.
Schools take part in the day the Friday before National Tree Day, which is celebrated on Sunday, July 27.
Each year more than 200,000 people take part in National Tree Day at approximately 3000 planting sites around Australia.
