Junior and youth teams joined their all age counterparts on the pitch after a school holiday break.
In the all age men’s competition Clyde United returned to the winners circle beating Cobargo 7-nil at Surfside.
Nathan Vogel was the player of the match with his four goals while Neil Mackay, Daniel Gillett and Kane Carmichael each put a shot into the back of the net.
The Moruya Swans crept into second spot with a 3-nil victory against Broulee at Gundary Oval while Bodalla stayed in third with a 2-nil win against Clyde Eagles.
Batemans Bay won by forfeit against Moruya Blue.
In the all age ladies’ competition the Swans’ win over Clyde United places them equal first with Clyde.
The match was played for double points to compensate for a previously washed out fixture.
Narooma won the battle of the south against Bodalla 5-2 and Batemans Bay had a bye.
Clyde United’s youth boys game against Bodalla thrilled the crowd in the high-scoring affair in which United held on to win 4-3 at Surfside.
The Moruya Swans won 4-2 against Narooma and Moruya Blue had a bye.
Moruya’s youth girls remain undefeated after its 5-nil win against Broulee and Batemans Bay forfeited to Narooma-Bodalla.
Clyde United had a bye.
