It was a great day, well attended despite the drizzle, and young and old alike enjoyed the horse and bull riding.
Even our sausage sandwich was great.
One thing that marred the day had nothing to do with the rain.
The organisers shouldn’t allow people to put up temporary tents next to the ring.
It prevents other people from seeing the show.
If they want protection from the elements, they should take an umbrella.
