POWER STRUGGLE: St Mary’s Primary School principal Jacqueline Heffernan flexes her muscles against strongman Roy Maloy’s after she had smashed a huge ice brick on his chest with a sledgehammer - while he lay on a bed of nails! The occasion was a combined circus and Christmas party held on Friday night to celebrate the opening of the Moruya school’s performing arts centre. About 450 people were spellbound for an hour by Roy’s feats of strength and daring, after which Santa arrived to a huge welcome from the children.
