The amazing manager of Vinnies in Batemans Bay, Glenda Bishop is putting a on a 'show' in the true sense of the word. I shall be co-hosting with Michael Lowe Principal of St. Marys Primary School Moruya, so you are guaranteed a laugh.
The Harding family enjoyed lunch at Darling Harbour before starting another adventure. This time they head to Bintulu in Malaysia to watch Darcy play in a basketball tournament.
Alayna Lord from Batemans Bay recently spent a few days in Cairns with Melisa Clarke, formerly of the Bay, who flew over from Karumba in Queensland. The girls had a lovely time together, catching up on old times.
Melisa and her partner Darren will be coming home to the Bay at Christmas for a visit, and are looking forward to catching up with their family and friends.
The Bay’s Friendship Group Cruisers had a meeting over the weekend,to discuss details of their upcoming cruise. They are now on a countdown and getting rather excited at the prospect of another cruise to the Pacific Islands. For some of the cruisers this time, it will be their first cruise and to say they are excited, is an understatement.
Jenny Scott is so house proud, she was seen raking up the pine needles at the Corrigans Beach park last week! What a woman!
The lovely ladies from the CWA put on another of their Spring Fashion Parades last Saturday. Their hall was full of ladies checking out the latest fashion from local fashion house, which were modelled by five of the CWA members. After the parade was over, the ladies served one of their delicious afternoon teas, with lots of scones, slices and cakes, all home made by members of the CWA.
Maureen Kinross, who was one of the models at the fashion parade, was having a very busy weekend. After the busy day on Saturday, she had to be up very early on Sunday morning, to be in Canberra for an early morning christening, then was off to the football.
Deb Patterson from Ambiguous Hair Salon in Moruya has good reason to puff out her chest as she won “Best Hairdresser On The South Coast” recently!
