The students first traveled to Batemans Bay to compete against other South Coast schools in the regional competition, and won all of their games.
Boccia is a Paralympic sport; designed so people of all abilities can play on an equal field.
The students first traveled to Batemans Bay to compete against other South Coast schools in the regional competition, and won all of their games.
From there, the team progressed to the state finals at at Homebush Olympic Park, placing sixth from 70 participating schools, and playing against teams which included national representatives.
This has been a best-ever result for the Narooma High School team – Effie Musumeci, Blair Ashworth, Connor McCarthy, Jye Bird, Kadison Musumeci, Les Campbell and Rebecca Merlino – some of who were representing their school for the first time.
The school finished seventh last year
