The week acknowledges the role of families in teaching, supporting and nurturing children as they grow, and encourages Australian families to maximise family time together. It runs from May 15 to 21.

This year's free Families Week events in Eurobodalla include:
- Family games day, at Bodalla Oval, Tuesday May 17 from 10am to 12pm, where families with children can enjoy free outdoor fun, including four-hole mini golf, giant pick-up sticks, egg-and-spoon races and more.
- Introduction to Circle of Security online workshop, Wednesday May 18 from 7 to 8pm, for care givers to learn how parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened through the Circle of Security Parenting program.
- Children's bike day, Captain Oldrey Park, Broulee, Thursday May 19 from10am-12pm, where children can ride through an obstacle course and bike wash station, listen to talks and have their bikes checked (BYO bike and helmet).
- 3Bs Family Picnic in the Park, Riverside Park, Moruya, Friday May 20 from 10am to 12pm, for families with children under age five to enjoy a morning of craft, stories and a special "Ukubebe" music class.
- Caring for kids first aid, RSL Hall, Page St, Moruya, Monday May 23 from 10am to 3pm, where new parents and carers of young children and babies can learn about CPR, choking, burns, respiratory distress and anaphylaxis.
