The exhibition 'Keep Calm and Carry On' features a mixture of mediums, from pencil and charcoal portraits, ink and watercolour florals and abstract acrylics.
Former Narooma hairdresser, Felicity Townend retired 20 years ago and since then she has been member of Dalmeny Quilters.
"I absolutely love making applique and patchwork quilts, even designing some for a time," she said.
"Having always dabbled in art I finally had some lessons in water colour painting in 2010 and that ended my quilting days as I immersed myself in painting from that point on.
"During the lockdown I loaded up on supplies to keep myself occupied and played about bit, discovering that I was really enjoying acrylic paints and the liberating abstract techniques I was learning."
Felicity is also a member of the School of Arts and attends the Thursday afternoon art group at the SoART cottage.
"With the new arts centre coming I am looking forward to being able to continue meeting up with my friends in the new studios and enjoying all the art forms that will be either practised or shown there," she said.
Felicity said she has accumulated so much work during that time she decided to have an exhibition.
The 'Keep Calm and Carry On' exhibition runs at the SoART Gallery Narooma from Friday, April 15 until Monday, April 18 from 10am to 4pm.
