The team showcased great chemistry and fortitude winning two out of their three games with some massive individual performances.
The first match of the day against Wollindilly was an incredibly close match, with the Breakers getting a clutch victory 32-29.
Prezley Wilson was a force to be reckoned with for the Breakers, scoring 11 baskets for a huge total of 26 points. It was a dominant performance and it set the tone for the strong Breakers side.
In their second game of the day, the Breakers comfortably took down Kiama 36-23.
Wilson put another huge 20 point game, but it was a full team effort all around with Hamish Kinch and Thomas Metzler both chipping in 6 points each.
Overall it was the boys strong defense that left the Kiama side rattled, this was fuelled by the teams chemistry as well as the sound coaching on the day.
In the final game, the Breakers weren't able to fulfill an undefeated weekend but still put up a great effort against a strong Merimbula side, losing the match by 11, 29-40.
Wilson continued his string of strong performances with 12 points and Kinch had his best match of the weekend scoring in double figures as well with 10.
While it didn't end on a high note, the boys should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the community is excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for the squad.
