Trades have been back on the tools for 2022, and were on track towards opening mid-year.
As you drive past the multi-million dollar arts and aquatics precinct on the Princes Highway of Batemans Bay, you can see the four waterslides now constructed.
"Both externally and internally, you can really see it coming together," says Group Operations Manager Simon Bryson.
"Features of the indoor and outdoor water play area are being installed and a lot of work is underway inside the theatre, such as functional elements including winches and track systems.
"It's really coming to life!"
Mr Bryson said the gym spaces were well advanced and the pool tiling was now complete.
He said the Bay Pavilions team was thrilled by the community's response so far.
"We have been excited by the interest of the community; the success of this facility will come from individuals within the local community," he said.
Mr Bryson said a whopping 180 employment opportunities were released this week. Jobs include lifeguards, swim teachers, gym instructors, reception staff and more.
"We're building a workforce from the community for the community," he said.
"You don't need to hold the relevant qualifications but need to be seeking to obtain those qualifications.
"To join the Bay Pavilions team is a unique opportunity to be part of something once-in-a-lifetime."
